Personal profile

Expertise

I am an AI researcher and lecturer at the Computer Science Department of the Vrije Universiteit Brussel. My work mainly focuses on adaptive models of language learning and understanding, either grounded in robots or through multi-agent simulations. I am one of the developers of [Fluid Construction Grammar](https://www.fcg-net.org), an open-ended language processing engine inspired by principles of evolutionary linguistics and built on State of the Art AI techniques such as heuristic search and meta-level processing.
